In John 14:6 Jesus made an absolute statement by saying, “”I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.”

We are living in a world where we are “lied” to every day. The new claim to what is supposed to be the truth is now called “Fake News” But Jesus Christ claimed that He Himself is the “true truth”.

Absolute Truth, the truth that can be believed on and relied on and stood on. We saw that to believe that He is the only way to the Father, to heaven will secure your eternal life. You will be saved from His judgement. But how then do we live in the interim here on earth? Once again Jesus Christ is the truth. In John’s Gospel Jesus prayed for His Heavenly Father to sanctify the believers in Him and He prayed in this way, “Sanctify them in the truth; Your word is truth.” God’s Word is Truth, just as Jesus is Truth. The Bible is God’s Holy Word that is able to teach us how we ought to live. That is, to live a life that is like Jesus Christ when He was here on earth. The Bible provides the answers to life and provides the truth by which we can live in a way that pleases God. This truth sanctifies us, that is it makes us holy as we forsake the life that was formerly lived out by the world, the flesh and the devil. His Truth, the Bible is a living Book by which He can direct our lives on a daily basis.

We at Faith Fellowship preach and teach the Truth in midweek Bible studies, personal discipleships, CMI our student training program and in our Sunday worship services the truth is given the prominence it deserves. We encourage all our people to be actively reading and studying God’s Word so that they too may live in a way that is pleasing to Him.
