HIS TRUTH
In John 14:6 Jesus made an absolute statement by saying, “”I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.”
We are living in a post-modern world today that denies absolute truth. Your truth is your truth and my truth is my truth. One of the greatest sins today is to try and impose your truth on someone else. “We have rights people claim, a right to our own truth” However, Jesus made this statement and either you can choose to believe Him or not.
Just think about it for a moment, how could anyone say that there is only one way to heaven and that it is through me? Either you would have to be deluded, or you would have to know enough information that no ordinary human being could possibly know. You would have to indeed be God, a claim that Jesus Christ made and proved of Himself, and therefore knows the only possible way for any other human being to get into heaven and that is by believing in Him.
Praise God for the Gospel that tells us that God so loves us, the world, every human being that He gave His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ to die on the cross of Calvary to pay the penalty of death for our sins. He died, was buried but rose again bodily from the grave, victorious over sin and death and has ascended into heaven to come again one day to judge mankind. If you believe in Jesus then you believe He is the only way to heaven and will not come under His judgement and perish but have everlasting life to enjoy in the glories of heaven.
Simply put there is no other way to the Father but through Jesus Christ.
