HIS LIFE

In John 14:6 Jesus made an absolute statement by saying, “”I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.”

The world is full of hatred and violence, murders and every imaginable form of wickedness. The Bible says that men are “inventors of evil”. But Jesus Christ came into this world, taking on flesh and living a perfect sinless life. He then gave the world the greatest demonstration of love by laying down His life for sinners and shedding His precious blood at Calvary.

Jesus said that He would build His church, something new, something made up of all believers of every tribe, nation, tongue who would continue to demonstrate this love to a lost and dying world by the love they had for one another. Jesus said, “By this shall all men know that you are my disciples if you have love one for another”. The church is the place where we come together to demonstrate love for one another. People from all different kinds of backgrounds, races, standings in life, loving one another. This is the true life of Christ, empowered by the Holy Spirit that shows a world true love. Each local church is a vibrant living organism that seeks to follow His Way, His Truth and live out His life.

Fisantekraal Community Hall | Sundays from 15:00-17:00

Junior Church

Faith Fellowship has been given a wonderful opportunity to minister to the children in the townships of Fisantekraal, Wallacedine and Bloekombos. Every Sunday afternoon from 3:00 to 5:00 we gather the children together from three townships and meet in the community hall in a Fisantekraal. As we  meet together, we share the gospel, sing worship songs, memorise Bible verses and teach the Bible. We have seen God work in amazing ways in the lives of these children. We at Faith Fellowship count it a privilege and joy to follow Christ and minister to these children as He has commanded us to do.

Then some children were brought to Him so that He might lay His hands on them and pray; and the disciples rebuked them. But Jesus said, “ Let the children alone, and do not hinder them from coming to Me; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

Matthew 9:12-15

Friday Youth Nights! 19:00 – 21:00

We start picking them up from 18:30 onwards and bring them to church. We start our nights with a time of prayer and singing songs of worship. We then break into smaller groups of 3-5 teenagers. Each group is led by an adult who teaches the portion of God’s Word assigned for that Friday night and lead the discussion around that teaching. Following this time of discipleship, we conclude the evening with a snack and cool drink before we take them home again.

Our goal is to disciple these youth to first of all come and know the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior and once they are saved, to grow in their knowledge and understanding of God’s Word and know how to practically apply it to their lives and obey it where they live. This is why we meet in smaller groups so as to be able to personally know and disciple these young people. Last year we studied the Gospel of John and we are currently studying the book of Proverbs.

Through the generous giving of many of God’s people, all of our youth that faithfully come, were able to attend the Winter Camps at Paardeberg Mountain Retreat this year. It was a joy to see them being able to go and have a great time while also being fed daily from God’s Word.

If you would like to serve the Lord in our church, we have many opportunities for you to do so.
