Followers of His Way, His Truth and His Life

Faith Fellowship is a community of believers, those who are saved by the grace of God through faith in the finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ at Calvary and then baptised. We come together each week to grow in our knowledge of the Lord and His Way, His Truth so that we can live out His Life on earth. We come together to worship and demonstrate the love of Christ toward one another to prove that we are His disciples. We believe that our worship continues throughout the week, every day as we seek to worship Him each day in spirit and in truth. We seek to share the Gospel, the Good News of salvation that is freely available to whosever will call on the name of the Lord.

World population:

The Lord Jesus Christ gave a command to His 11 disciples which is called the Great Commission to go into all the world to preach the Gospel.

Mathew 28:18-20 – And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

Mark 16:15-16 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved, but he who has disbelieved shall be condemned.

The Gospel is the Good News that in Jesus Christ there is salvation from the judgement for sin. The wages of sin is death but for those who do not know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Saviour there is a second death, a resurrection to face the judgement of God and sentence into a Lake of Fire for all eternity.

The urgency of the Gospel is that everyday according to the world population clock tens of thousands of people are dying and entering an “eternity without salvation, either because they have rejected the Gospel or because they have never heard the Gospel. It is the duty of every believer in Jesus Christ to share the gospel.

Coronavirus – Tracts

Dear brethren and friends, with news of the CoronaVirus pandemic there is much panic in the world concerning life and death. How do we cope under such stress? What do we do with our anxieties?

We have a number of tracts written by members of our church as they too grapple with their own anxieties. Please take a look at our tract page and I pray that you will find encouragement and hope through what they have written.

Php 4:4  Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice!
Php 4:5  Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near.
Php 4:6  Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
Php 4:7  And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Php 4:8  Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things.
Php 4:9  The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.

May the Lord help you by His grace to love Him with all your heart, soul, mind and strength and to love your neighbour as Christ loved you. Let us reach out to do whatever we can to share the love of Christ and the Gospel, the Good News of salvation for all.

Lord bless,

Ps Cal

We invite you to come!

Sunday Family Worship Service

We are committed to worshipping the Lord each Sunday morning in our services by praying together, singing together, sharing the Lord’s Table and learning and growing together as the Word of God is preached. We have different people participating in the corporate worship each Sunday and encourage the giving of testimonies and participation of everyone.

What to expect

You will be warmly greeted on arrival and our service follows an intentional pattern of singing hymns that help affirm our doctrines we believe in, singing songs that are in themselves testimonies of God’s grace, giving of offerings for the work of the Lord in our church and support of missionaries, Scripture reading, so it would be good to bring a Bible with. We listen to the preaching of God’s Word, the sermon and follow along in our Bible’s, taking notes or just listening. All preaching is driven by the Gospel, the Bible’s main message of God saving sinners through the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Afterwards we enjoy some fellowship together around a cup of tea or coffee. At month-end we have a ‘big tea’ where everyone is encouraged to bring something nice to eat and share.

What to wear

We are a multi-lingual, multi-cultural church and so have a very diverse culture of dress. You will find people wearing casuals, jeans and T-shirts, skirts and dresses and even suits. There is no formal style designated for our church. Come as you feel comfortable to worship the Lord.

Children and Sunday school

We encourage parents to train their children to worship as part of our service. We have a small Sunday school for those wishing to send their children there during the preaching time.

Pastor Calvin Lewis

“I didn’t know at first what to do or where to look for help since I felt all alone before God. Then as I looked to God for His mercy, because His Son Jesus Christ had died on the cross at Calvary in my place, His Amazing Grace began to work in my heart – to save a wretched sinner like me. My life changed radically!”

Pastor Filip Le Roux

“It was there, on that beach, all by myself, just God and me, that I prayed and surrendered to His call, repented of my excuses and sin and said “Yes, I will go and do His will and I’ll obey.” As I finished praying, I also told the Lord that if it is His will for me to go into ministry as a single man, that I would obey but if He desired me to have a wife, I would trust Him to provide one at the right time. The very next day…”

Pastor Jim Miller

“I was reminded about Matthew 4:19 where Jesus said, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” I realised it was God’s work, rather than ours. I felt God tugging at my heart, and I went forward and surrendered to Him.”

Discipleship

We encourage everyone to either be discipled by a stronger Christian or to be discipling someone. Throughout the week we have many personal discipleships taking place that encourage and foster growth in the Christian faith so that each person. Individually, is pursuing their personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, being conformed to His image and allowing the Holy Spirit to lead them.

CMI

At Faith Fellowship we are committed to the training of men and women for the ministry and we have a Church Ministries Institute for this purpose, whereby we meet to teach the students the doctrines of the faith and so much more. Some attend simply for the sake of growing in your knowledge of the Word of God.
